A 5-year-old girl died of dengue infection in Darchula

Dhangadhi: A 5-year-old girl has died due to dengue infection. Rural Health Coordinator, Gunaraj Ojha, informed that the deceased was Usha Dhami of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-4

Coordinator Ojha informed that the girl suddenly developed fever a week ago and on September 5 (Bhadra 20th), when she was brought to the district hospital, Darchula, she was tested for dengue and scrub typhus.

It is said that due to dengue infection, the amount of water in the body decreases, the amount of white blood decreases and the blood circulation system is directly affected and the patient dies.
