Ban on plastic use in Dhangadhi from September 17th
Dhangadhi: Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality has decided to ban the use of plastic items from September 17th (Ashoj 1st). The executive meeting of the sub-metropolitan city has decided to ban the sale, distribution and use of plastic products.
It has been decided to ban the use of tobacco leaves, gutkha, plastic glasses, cups, plates and bags in the market as problematic waste of the city from September 17th (Ashoj 1st). In the same way, it has been decided to call on everyone not to do things like throwing garbage in public areas, road drains, mixing sewage in rivers, putting construction materials on the road, setting up stalls, tying cattle on the road for a certain period of time, and after that, it has been decided to impose a financial fine on those who do not obey the rules.
