Ward clinic services by specialists started in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: Specialist ward clinic services has been launched in Dhangadhi. On Sunday, Far-Western Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt inaugurated the service through a formal program. The service was launched from ward number 19 of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.
Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city informed that specialist ward clinic services have been launched in all the wards to provide accessible health services to the city dwellers. It is said that this service will be provided free of cost in all 19 wards as per their schedule every month. The mayor of Dhangadhi, Gopal Hamal, has already handed over the vehicle provided to him by the government to the health branch for the operation of the service.
Hamal, who announced that he will not use any facilities personally as the city head, said that as per his election promise, he will run specialist health clinics in all 19 wards every month. Similarly, an agreement has already been reached that Min Bahadur Gurung, the owner of Bhatbhateni supermarket, will pay the salaries and allowances of the two specialist doctors required to operate the specialist ward clinic in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.
The Ministry of Social Development has supported the sub-metropolitan municipality with the necessary equipment to run a health clinic. Members of the Provincial Assembly, Assistant Chief District Officer and representatives of the security agencies were also present at the launch of specialist ward clinic services.
