Head of a campus turns himself in after being accused of rape 

Dhangadhi: The head of a campus has been arrested after being accused of raping a female worker from Kailali at Purchoudi Polytechnic in Baitadi. On Sunday, the outgoing campus head of the campus, Rajendra Negi, surrendered to the police. 

On July 13, a rape case was registered against Negi at the District Police Office, Patan, based on the complaint filed by the female worker the police began searching for him. However, today Negi came to the District Police Office, Baitadi and surrendered himself.  The police said that the investigation on the incident is ongoing. 

Similarly, Negi has already resigned from his post as the head of campus. He, who received heavy criticism after being accused of rape, said that he resigned on the basis of ethics and resigned to help in the investigation.
