Dadeldhura fails to provide accountability for more than 8 crore spent in the District
Dadeldhura: More than 8 crore has been spent by 7 local levels of Dadeldhura without any accountability. According to the 59th annual report of the Auditor General, in the financial year 2077/78, seven local levels of Dadeldhura have unaccountably spent 80 million 47 lakh 72 thousand. Among the local levels in the district, the highest amount has been spent by Amargadhi municipality of the district headquarters.
The municipality of Amargarhi has unaccountably spent 2 crore 63 lakh 28 thousand. Similarly, Alital Rural Municipality has unaccountably spent 2 crore 18 lakh 81 thousand. While Bhageswar Rural Municipality has spent 1 crore 53 lakh 58 thousand. Similarly, it is mentioned in the Auditor General's report that 66 lakh 51 thousand were unaccountably spent in Parashuram Municipality, 58 lakh 58 thousand in Ajaymeru Rural Municipality and 49 lakh 39 thousand in Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality. Navdurga Rural Municipality has unaccountably spent 37 lakh 57 thousand.
