Dilashaini Rural Municipality terminates contracts of 58 employees

Baitadi: Dilashaini Rural Municipality of Baitadi has decided not to renew contracts of 58 government employees who were working for the municipality. Spokesperson of the rural municipality, Yagyaraj Bhatta, informed that the decision was made to not extend their contract period of the school staff and the staff working in the village council because they had been recruited without meeting the requirements for their job.

Spokesperson Bhatt said that it was decided not to extend the contract period of 58 people including office assistants, municipal teachers, volunteers, agricultural specialists, social administrators and health workers.

Similarly, Patan municipality of the district has also removed the school teachers without qualifications. Birkharaj Bhatt, head of the education branch of Patan municipality, informed that the unqualified teachers have been removed with effect from July 17. The municipality had decided to remove unqualified teachers on June 14, he added.
