Monthly allowance of Dhangadhi Urban Development Chairman rejected

Dhangadhi: The monthly allowance of the chairperson and member secretary of the Dhangadhi Urban Development Committee has been rejected. At the meeting of the Urban Development Committee, the monthly allowance of Rs. 15,000 for the chairperson and Rs 6,000 for the member secretary was rejected.

According to Gopal Halmal, chairman of the city development committee, it has been decided to use the Rs. 78,000 spent on staff salaries and allowances for tree planting, garbage management and clearing encroachments. A meeting of the committee held on Thursday has decided to move the city development office as well.
