Police confiscates 50 quintals of manure being taken to Kanchanpur after evading custom duty

Kanchanpur: Police have seized 50 quintals (100 sacks) of manure from Dodha bridge located in Punarwas Municipality-10 of Kanchanpur. On Thursday, a team led by Police Inspector Naresh Raj Malla of the Tribhuvanabasti area police office seized the fertilizers that were brought to Nepal after evading custom duty.

The police have also held the tractor (SE 2/ 2370) that was carrying the unsolicited goods in custody. The fertilizers that were brought from India were seized while it was being transported to Krishnapur. According to the Police, fertilizers worth 150,000 was handed over to the Trinagar Customs Office in Kailali.
