Kailali: The municipality of Kailali is busy preparing for the meeting to bring policies, programs and budget for the coming fiscal year. The municipalities of Kailali are busy in collecting suggestions, demands and needs by discussing policies and programs at the settlement level to hold the town and village councils on time.
People's representatives and employees are going to various tolls and settlements to bring the plan from Palika ward level. The Janaki rural municipality of Kailali is selecting the plan from the slum level and holding discussions in various committees. Chairman of the rural municipality Ganesh Chaudhary informed that preparations are being made to hold a rural municipality assembly on June 21 and 22 in Janaki rural municipality.
"Plan selection has been done from the rural level. As per the plan, we have brought the program by determining the budget limit by holding a meeting of the Resource Estimate and Budget Boundary Determination Committee. We are engaged in the preparation of the rural municipality assembly by collecting suggestions from various political parties and organizations, discussing in the meeting of the Revenue Advisory Committee and discussing the budget, program and planning in the meeting of the committee." Chairman Chaudhary said.
Tikapur Municipality has also started preparations for the Municipal Council. The municipality, which is preparing to hold the municipal council on June 24, has instructed the ward office to select and send the plan to the budget, program and planning committee by June 19. Mayor Ram Lal Dagora Tharu said that various discussions are being held accordingly.
Mayor Tharu Tikapur said that priority will be given to long-term sustainable and profitable schemes. "Education, health, agriculture, environment protection will be the priority. When bringing budget and programs, attention will be paid to the sustainable development and benefits of the city. At the same time, we have started working in an effort to cover all the backward areas." He said.
The Bhajani Municipality and Joshipur Municipality of Kailali have also stated that they have started work to start the meeting by June 24. Chairman of Joshipur village municipality Chitra Bahadur Chaudhary said that discussions are underway with various sectors to select the plan at the slum level so that the meeting will start on June 24.
