3 crores allocated for 5 roads of Baitadi in priority

Baitadi: The federal government has given priority to five roads in the district. In order to complete the work in the coming fiscal year, the government has allocated a budget for five roads under the Alternative Auxiliary Highway Development Program.

Rs. 50 lakhs for Patan-Kailpal-Dewal road, Rs. 50 lakhs for Dhamigaun-Baim-Mankuda-Purchaundi road, Rs. 50 lakhs for Deujhadi-Nagaraun-Dhamigaun-Dilashani road, Rs. 50 lakhs for Sakar-Bayalchaur-Patan road and Rs. 50 lakhs for Satbanjh-Sribhavar road. Rs. 1 crore budget has been allocated.

These roads will be constructed through the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport of the Federal Government. Earlier, the federal government had allocated a budget for Baitadi under the intergovernmental financial transfer. A budget of Rs. 49.36 crore has been allocated for Patan Municipality, Rs. 47.29 crore for Dasharathchanda Municipality, Rs. 48.49 crore for Purchaundi Municipality and Rs. 38.15 crore for Melauli Municipality.
