Sickle cell patients face financial issues
Sickle cell has always been an alerting factor in the far-west region. With an entire community fighting it, the government has failed to provide financial help. Hospitals are under-equipped, causing problems for the locals. The government started a provision where money worth one lakh each is to be provided to the patients, but the scheme turned out to be a complete failure, as people are unable to access it when required.
