Telephone service started in Darchula's Tinker

Darchula: Telephone service has been started in Tinker of Darchula. According to the Nepal Telecom Darchula office in Khalanga, VISAT has been connected to bring the phone service in Byas rural municipality-1 Tinker. It is said that VISAT was connected as it was not possible to pull the wire immediately.

The two line phone service is connected through Nepal Telecom's NT set technology. Mobile sets do not work in the settlements near Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulek, Nepali lands encroached by India. Due to the lack of communication service, 75 families, locals and security personnel were also harassed. Locals are happy after the phone line is connected.
