Bhim Rawal only in the advisory role of UML

Dhangadhi: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal's land has been limited to advisors. Rawal, who was defeated by KP Sharma Oli in the tenth general convention held in Chitwan, is not in any committee of UML now. He also refused to sit on the central committee after being defeated as chairman. That is why the second plenary meeting of the Central Committee held in Bhaktapur did not give any responsibility to Rawal.

At a press conference held on Friday to announce the decision of the meeting, UML general secretary Shankar Pokharel discussed Rawal's role in the party. "Bhim Rawal has not been given any responsibility as he is not in the central committee," he said. The decision will be taken in consultation with the party chairman for additional responsibilities.

Pokharel also said that Rawal was now a member of the Central Advisory Council. "I suggest the party as a member of the Central Advisory Council until further notice," he said. Former Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission Amrit Kumar Bohora is the Chairman of the UML Central Advisory Council.
