27 injured in an accident in Kailali

Dhangadhi: At least 27 people have been injured when a bus collided against an Scorpio in Kailali. The accident took place on Thursday morning at around 10 am while the bus was heading from Lamkichuha Municipality-3 Gorange, to Mahendranagar.

The bus (002-001 Kha 1084) and the Scorpio (Se 1 Cha 1593) coming from the opposite direction collided with each other. According to the District Police Office, Kailali, 27 persons were injured in the collision. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lalaratna Hospital in Lamki while the other passengers are in a safe condition, police said.

The bus was driven by Ganesh Rana, 34, of Shuklaphanta Municipality-12, Kanchanpur, and the Scorpio was being driven by Motiram Dagora, 48, of Krishnapur Municipality-6.
