Damage of around Rs 50 million in a furniture factory due to fire breakout

Dhangadhi: A fire breakout at a furniture factory in Chatakpur of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan-4 was ceased after two hours.

The fire was put out by two fire brigades, one from Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan and one fire brigade from Godawari Municipality.

An excavator, Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals also helped in controlling the fire.  

The fire breakout has caused a loss of Rs 50 million, according to the sources. Police are yet to reveal the details of the damage. According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the fire broke out in a showroom adjacent to the furniture industry at around 12 noon.
