More than 63,000 people apply for national citizenship in Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: More than 63,000 people have applied for citizenship in a  national identity card collection camp conducted at the local level in Dadeldhura.

Assistant Chief District Officer Baburam Aryal said that 63,406 people from all seven local levels of the district have filled in their details for the national identity card.

The collection of details for citizenship started at the local level on December 20. As of the the registration for people seeking a citizenship has been completed. However, the district administration office has stated that the details are being updated regularly.
