60 new cases of Coronavirus in Far-West

Dhangadhi: Coronavirus has been detected in 60 more people in the far west. A laboratory test conducted at Dadeldhura Hospital confirmed the virus in 49 people while Doti Hospital confirmed the virus in 11 people. 357 samples were examined at Dadeldhura Hospital and 49 people tested positive. Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, laboratory in-charge of the hospital, said that 47 people from Bajhang and two from Darchula have been infected.

According to laboratory in-charge Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, 47 people from Durgathali Rural Municipality of Bajhang, one person from Shailyashikhar Municipality, and one person from District Police Office Darchula tested positive.

Similarly, tests conducted at the laboratory of Doti District Hospital have confirmed the infection in 11 people. The hospital's laboratory in-charge Shaurabh Shrestha said that seven men and four women were infected with the virus. According to him, 8 people of Purbichauki Rural Municipality Ward No.6, one person of Ward No. 7, one person of Sayal Rural Municipality and one person of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality Ward No.4 tested positive.
