Body of a woman found in Darchula

Darchula: A body of a woman has been found in Darchula. The body has been identified as Nirmala Kuwar age  26, of Budchaura was found in Mahakali Municipality-2 of the district, according to the District Police Office in Darchula.

She had been missing for the past one month, according to police. The body of the woman was found in a state of decomposition. The woman's body, along with her stolen clothes and mobile phone were found inside a nearby bush, said Surendra Prasad Joshi, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Darchula.

DSP Padam Bahadur Bista said that the cause of death could not be ascertained. The deceased's husband Kundan Singh Kuwar is in Saudi Arabia for employment. The woman's body has been taken to Darchula District Hospital for post-mortem. Police said that further investigation is underway.
