37,000 PCR tests conducted in Far West
Dhangadhi: About 37,000 people have been tested for Coronavirus in Far-West. PCR tests have been carried out on 36,867 people and the samples have been sent to various laboratories across the country for examination.
In the past five-months, swabs collected from Far-west have been examined in various laboratories across the country.
According to the Health Directorate, 17,871 samples have been tested by the laboratory of Seti Provincial Hospital, 15,729 samples from the National Public Health Laboratory and other laboratories in Kathmandu and 3,083 through Dadeldhura Laboratory.
According to the State Health Directorate, 38,059 swab samples have been collected so far. Of the tested, 1,192 reports are yet to come. 478 samples are yet to be tested at Dhangadhi Laboratory, 125 at Dadeldhura Laboratory and 14 at National Public Health Laboratory Teku.
In the far-west, RDT tests have been conducted on 124,690 people.
