A girl drowns in a river in Achham

Dhangadhi: A girl has gone missing after being swept away in a river in Achham. According to the District Police Office of Achham, Manisha Kumari Budha age 8, of Mellekh Rural Municipality-1, Lifruki, went missing in the Lifru River on Monday.

Police Inspector Ramesh Dutta Awasthi said that she went missing while crossing the Lifru River at around 3 pm.

He said that a police team has been  mobilized to search for the missing girl.
