Samples from 14 police personnel that came in contact with a COVID-19 infected man in Kanchanpur to be examined

Samples from 14 police personnel who have come in contact with a COVID-19 infected man in Kanchanpur will be examined. A 41-year-old man from Bedkot Municipality returned home from Uttarakhand, India and was tested positive for COVID-19.  Assistant Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur, Gokarna Prasad Upadhyay said," Samples from 14 Police personnel will be collected today that  were involved in arresting the 11 persons using an illicit route to enter Nepal including the infected man." Deputy Superintendent of the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 35 Gan Shaileshwari, Bir Bahadur Sahu said, "The condition of all security personnel who came in contact with the infected man is normal. A group of 11 people, including the infected man, were arrested by a team of five Police personnel as they were trying to enter Nepal from Brahmadev Naka in Kanchanpur. The other nine Police Personnel are being tested as they took the 11 of them to the quarantine center."
