Dhangadhi Urges Citizens Aged 30 and Above to Get Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine

Dhangadhi: Gopal Hamal, Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, has urged all citizens aged 30 and above to get vaccinated against Japanese Encephalitis.

Min Bahadur Dhami, Information Officer at the Kailali Health Office, stated that the vaccination campaign, which began on Ashwin 8 across all 19 wards of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, will continue until Ashwin 22.

Under the campaign, the Japanese Encephalitis vaccine is being administered to citizens over the age of 30. Mayor Hamal has encouraged citizens to participate in the campaign and stay safe from infection, setting an example by getting vaccinated himself.

The Sub-Metropolitan City has requested all citizens to coordinate with their nearest ward health office to receive the vaccine. The Health Office has urged citizens within the target age group to get vaccinated during the campaign period to ensure their safety.
