Man arrested with heroin in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested a person in possession of brown heroin in Kanchanpur.

The arrested has been identified as 19-year-old Nishant Tamang, a resident of Ram Basti, Punarbas Municipality-3. He was apprehended on Tuesday afternoon from Khalla Pipal Chautara in Belauri Municipality-1 with 550 milligrams of illegal drugs.

According to police, a team deployed from Police Post Phataiya, Kanchanpur, recovered the substance during a routine check and arrested him along with his motorcycle.
