4 arrested with drugs from Kailali and Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested four people with illegal drugs, brown heroin, from Kailali and Kanchanpur.

Police arrested two people with 970 milligrams of brown heroin from Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-2, Baunia, Kailali, on Monday night. The arrested are 24-year-old Pravesh Chaudhary and 26-year-old Sanjay Kusmi, both residents of the same area. Police deployed from the Area Police Office, Sadakpur Baunia, Kailali, arrested them after finding the substance during a suspicious check.

Similarly, police arrested an 18-year-old teenager with 1 gram 330 milligrams of brown heroin from Bhimdatta Municipality-18, Salghari Madan Ashrit Tole, Kanchanpur, on Monday evening. A joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, and Temporary Police Post, Salghari, Kanchanpur, arrested the teenager after finding the substance during a check.

Likewise, police arrested 22-year-old Manoj Karki, a resident of Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Aithpur, Kanchanpur, with 2 grams 390 milligrams of brown heroin on Monday evening. A joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, and Temporary Police Post, Salghari, Kanchanpur, found the substance and arrested Karki.
