Woman injured after electricity pole falls on motorcycle in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: A woman was injured after an electricity pole collapsed onto a moving motorcycle on the Chatakpur-Rajghat road section of Dhangadhi at around 8 am on Monday.

The injured has been identified as 45-year-old Asha Kumari Chaudhary of Belauri Municipality-5. She sustained serious head injuries after the electricity pole fell on the motorcycle she was riding. Police said that she is currently undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital.

Chaudhary was heading to work as a daily wage laborer with her husband Rajkumar Chaudhary when the incident occurred. Her husband was not injured in the accident.

Following the incident, she was immediately rescued and taken to Maya Metro Hospital, Dhangadhi, for treatment.

According to Jagat Mahata, in-charge of Maya Metro Hospital, injured Chaudhary is receiving necessary treatment at the hospital.
