6 arrested with drugs in separate incidents in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested six people with brown heroin in separate incidents in Kailali within a single day.

Police arrested four people with 6 grams 630 milligrams of illegal drugs, brown heroin, from Joshipur Rural Municipality-1, Pipalkoti of the district on Sunday afternoon.

Those arrested are 27-year-old Kiran Chaudhary of Bhajani Municipality-8 Khaira, 18-year-old Kishore of Thapapur of the same municipality, 24-year-old Shyam Katharia of Janaki Rural Municipality-4 Kanchanpur and 22-year-old Rupesh Katharia.

According to police, a team deployed from the Area Police Office, Bhajani, Kailali, based on confidential information, recovered the substance during a security check and arrested all four along with the drugs and the motorcycle they were using.

Similarly, police arrested two people with 550 milligrams of brown heroin from Lamkichuha Municipality-7 Bazaar in Kailali on Sunday night.

The arrested have been identified as 29-year-old Rehan Chaudhary and 27-year-old Ajay Chaudhary, both residents of the same area. A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Lamki, Kailali, recovered the substance and arrested both individuals.
