Baitadi Traffic Police collect Rs 129,800 in revenue from traffic violations

Far West: Baitadi Traffic Police collected Rs 129,800 in revenue from 1,508 traffic rule violators during the last fiscal year.

According to office spokesperson Suraj Singh, action was taken against 170 truck and tanker drivers, 19 bus and minibus drivers, 754 jeep, car and van drivers, 91 tractor drivers, 351 motorcyclists and 123 tempo drivers over the period.

He also informed that 62 vehicles were involved in accidents in the district in the last fiscal year, resulting in 34 deaths and 176 injuries.
