Police rescue cliff-fall victim in Darchula

Darchula: A person from Galtha, Byas Rural Municipality-3 of Darchula, has been injured after falling from a cliff.

According to police, Madan Singh Dadal, a resident of Galtha, fell around 20–25 meters from a cliff at Galtha at approximately 10:15 am on Friday while heading from his home towards Sunsera. He sustained a head injury in the incident.

After receiving information about the incident, a police team deployed from the Sunsera Police Post rescued the injured Dadal with the assistance of local residents. He was immediately taken to Sunsera Health Post for treatment, police said.
