Incessant rains damage maize crops in Purchoudi, over a dozen families affected

Purchoudi: Continuous rainfall on the night of July 20 has caused significant damage to maize crops in Baltje village of Nwadeu, Purchoudi Municipality-3 in Baitadi.

According to local resident Arjun Bohara, crops belonging to around 12 families have been affected by the rainfall. In addition to maize, banana plantations and various fruit plants have also suffered damage.

The persistent rain has also put some houses at risk. Locals have expressed concern that further damage may occur if the rainfall continues.
