Bogtan Foodsil Rural Municipality achieves 84.46 percent budget expenditure in fiscal year 2082/83

Doti: Bogtan Foodsil Rural Municipality has made public its financial progress report for the current fiscal year 2082/83.

According to the rural municipality, income, expenditure and payment-related work for the fiscal year was completed on Asad 25, 2083 BS, and the financial report was published on Asad 26.

The municipality stated that details of work and expenditure carried out under the approved budget and programs have been disclosed to maintain transparency in line with the Good Governance Act and prevailing public expenditure provisions. It also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who supported the implementation of its policies, programs and budget.

As per the report, Rs. 334.2 million 33 thousand 875.58 was allocated under the current budget, of which Rs. 287.3 million 8 thousand 90.30 has been spent, accounting for 85.96 percent.

Similarly, Rs. 125.6 million 73 thousand 362 was allocated for the capital budget, with expenditure reaching Rs. 10 crore 11 lakh 41 thousand 984.21, or 80.48 percent.

Overall, out of the total budget of Rs. 45 crore 99 lakh 7 thousand 237.58, a total of Rs. 38 crore 84 lakh 50 thousand 74.51 has been spent. This brings the total budget expenditure of the rural municipality in fiscal year 2082/83 to 84.46 percent.
