Four young scientists honored by Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: Far Western Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has honored four young scientists for their significant contributions in the fields of science, technology, and research. Chief Minister Shah honored them with cash awards and certificates of appreciation at the Young Scientists Incentive Program-2083 organized by the Provincial Youth Council in Dhangadhi on Sunday.
The young scientists honored include Arun Luhar of Tikapur in Kailali, Prakash Bahadur Saund of Triveni in Bajura, Indra Ojha of Dhangadhi, and Bindu Pant of Godavari in Kailali. Earlier, at a program organized on the occasion of the International Youth Council 2025 on August 10, Chief Minister Shah had announced that youth active in the field of innovation would be honored.
Speaking at the program, Chief Minister Shah expressed his commitment to provide necessary support from the government, emphasizing the need to connect the information and technology sector with the youth. He said that the active role of youth is indispensable in social transformation, positive change, and guiding society in the right direction.
At the program chaired by Gajendra Bahadur Saund, Executive Vice-Chairman of the Provincial Youth Council, speakers including Minister of State for Social Development Madhu Bharti expressed the view that the state should play a more active role in enhancing the capacity of youth and promoting innovation.
