Gold and silver prices decline in local market

Kathmandu: The prices of both gold and silver have declined in the local market today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 5,200 per tola, while silver has decreased by Rs 250. For today, gold has been fixed at Rs 278,300 per tola and silver at Rs 4,235.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 283,500 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,485 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was bought and sold at Rs 287,100 per tola and silver at Rs 4,590 per tola.

In the international market, gold is being traded at US$ 3,999 per ounce.
