House of representatives meeting date postponed

Kathmandu: The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for Thursday, Asad 20, has been postponed to Friday, Asad 20.

In a notice issued today, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Padam Prasad Pandey informed that Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has scheduled the meeting for Friday, Asad 20, at 1:00 pm, as per Rule 6 of the Rules of the House of Representatives, 2083.

It is estimated that the meeting has been postponed due to the postponement of the first general convention of the National Independent Party, which is currently underway in Bharatpur, Chitwan. The meeting of the National Assembly, however, will be held on the scheduled Asad 20.
