One held with illegal loaded gun in Doti, investigation underway

Doti: One person has been arrested in Doti for possessing an illegal loaded gun.

According to the District Police Office, Doti, the individual was taken into custody during a police operation conducted in the district. Police have not disclosed the name and address of the arrested person, but confirmed that a loaded gun was recovered from their possession.

The District Police Office stated that a necessary investigation is underway against the arrested individual. Police have also intensified surveillance and enforcement measures to control illegal possession and transportation of weapons in violation of the Arms and Ammunition Act.

Further investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
