Case filed against journalist Aishwarya Kunwar for indecent Behavior, investigation underway
Dhangadhi: Kanchanpur police have registered a case under the charge of ‘indecent behavior’ against journalist Aishwarya Kunwar, who was arrested on allegations of arguing with and assaulting a public representative, and have initiated an investigation.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Rawat, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Kunwar is being investigated for her involvement in the alleged argument and assault. Police confirmed that a case of indecent behavior has been formally registered against her.
The incident reportedly occurred during a three-day leadership development training for children affiliated with the ‘Sunaulo Bhavishya Children’s Club’ at Hotel Sweet Dream in Mahendranagar, organized by Bhimdutta Municipality. It is said that a dispute arose during the program and escalated into an assault.
Police stated that legal proceedings have been initiated after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
