Dhangadhi: A letter has surfaced indicating that the National Independent Party (RSP) requested donations for the Sudurpaschim Province Convention and the Central General Convention.

The letter, addressed to the Managing Director of a construction company in Kanchanpur, appears to have sought financial assistance of Rs 30,000. Signed by Surendra Bohara, Chairman of the RSP’s Krishnapur Municipality-1 Ward Committee, the letter states that the amount was requested from Jaljala Construction Company.

According to the letter, the construction company had previously been working in the ward and providing local support, and financial assistance was needed for the upcoming Province Convention scheduled from Asad 1 and the Central General Convention set for Asad 7, 8, and 9.

Meanwhile, RSP Ward President Bohara stated that the request for financial assistance was not intended for the convention but for road maintenance. “I had sent a letter through friends asking for help in repairing the road. However, in the letter, my friends had written that it was for the convention,” he said. “As soon as I came to know about that matter, I brought the letter back. They have taken a photo of the letter and have now made it public. I admit that this is our weakness in this matter.”
