Nepali Congress removes Chief Minister Shah’s Chief personal secretary Khanal from ward chairmanship

Dhangadhi: The Nepali Congress has removed Prayagraj Khanal, the ward chairman of Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, from his position, citing non-cooperation in updating active party membership.

Khanal, who serves as the chairman of Lamkichuha Ward No. 1 in Kailali, was removed from the position for failing to cooperate in implementing the party’s decision.

Ward chairman Khanal also serves as Chief Personal Secretary to Chief Minister Shah.

The responsibility of updating active membership has been assigned to Krishna Prasad Rimal.

The deadline for updating active membership, which began on Baisakh 1, has been set for today.
