Hohai Spring Games 2026: Building Friendship Beyond Borders

Nusrat Azeema and Sita Chaudhary: The spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and cultural diversity came alive during the Hohai Spring Games 2026, held on 22 May 2026 at the building 20 Football Ground.

Students from different countries participated enthusiastically in a full day of  ompetitive and entertaining activities organized under the theme of teamwork, friendship, and cultural exchange. Four teams (Blue, Yellow, Green, and Red) competed in a series of exciting games including Tunnel Race, Hula Hoop Race, Zigzag Race, Athletics Mixed Relay, Balloon Popping Race, Water Balloon Throw, Tug of War, Arm Wrestling, Penalty Kick, Musical Chairs, and the energetic Shakira Event.

After an intense and entertaining competition, the Blue Team emerged as the overall winner of the Spring Games 2026. The winning team was led by girls’ team leader Nusrat Azeema and boys’ team leader Emmanuel Bani, whose leadership and coordination played an important role throughout the event.

Participants demonstrated teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm during both the morning and afternoon sessions. The event also strengthened friendships among international students and created a lively atmosphere on campus.

During the lunch break, the Pakistani community warmly shared food with all participants and guests, reflecting the spirit of hospitality and togetherness. Special appreciation was given to Saeed Ahmed from the Sociology Department, who cooked food for all teams and contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere of the event.

The celebrations became even more vibrant as students performed traditional dances and enjoyed music from different cultures.
