Finance Minister Dr. Wagle presents budget in federal parliament

Kathmandu: The budget speech has begun in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has started presenting the budget approved by the Council of Ministers meeting held at Singha Durbar earlier today.

The government has brought a budget of about 200 trillion for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

Finance Minister Wagle had stayed until midnight to finalize the budget.

According to finance officials, the government has made extensive changes in income tax rates in this year’s budget.
