Eight armed police personnel faint during training in Tikapur

Dhangadhi: Eight Armed Police Force personnel fainted during training at the Armed Police Force Nepal Revenue and Industrial Training School in Tikapur, Kailali.

They lost consciousness while running 200 meters as part of their basic training. The personnel who fainted have been identified as Bal Bahadur Basnet, Ganesh Rawat, Man Bahadur Basnet, Chin Bahadur Thami, Kirannath Yogi, Dhiraj Thapa, Suresh Shahi, and Bhupendra Basnet.

The affected personnel were initially taken to Tikapur Hospital for treatment after the incident occurred at around 9 am. They have since been transported to Kathmandu for further treatment by a Nepal Army helicopter.

The concerned authorities have stated that further details regarding the incident are awaited.
