Five arrested in Kailali for failing to serve sentences in land survey obstruction case

Dhangadhi: Five individuals who had been absconding without serving their prison sentences have been arrested in Kailali.

Dhan Bahadur Magar of Lamkichuha Municipality-4, who was sentenced to three months in prison by the District Court Kailali in a case related to obstructing employees from surveying and mapping land, has been taken into custody.

Similarly, Kalu Aujee, Duda Damai, Dhirka Rawat, and Chandra Singh Dani, who were each sentenced to one month in prison in the same case, have also been arrested.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Lamki, stated that all five individuals were arrested from their respective home addresses on Wednesday.
