Chief Minister Shah meets Swiss ambassador, focus on strengthening development cooperation

Kailali: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah and Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Daniel Meuli held a courtesy meeting.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers on Tuesday, both sides discussed mutual cooperation and development partnership.

Chief Minister Shah appreciated the technical support provided by the Swiss government in areas including strengthening Nepal’s federal governance system, job creation, skill development, safe foreign employment, agricultural development, disaster risk reduction, and climate change adaptation.

Swiss Ambassador Daniel Meuli shared information about programs being organized to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Switzerland. She also expressed Switzerland’s commitment to continuing its support for Nepal’s sustainable development.
