Driver Dies After Tractor Overturns in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A man died in a road accident after a tractor overturned in Beltadi inner road section of Shuklaphanta Municipality–8, Kanchanpur district.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 2:55 PM on 2083/01/31 BS. Immediately after receiving information about the accident, a team from the Area Police Office, Jhalari, was deployed and reached the incident site at 3:10 PM.

Preliminary police investigation revealed that a tractor (registration number Se 2 Ta 1418) heading from Domilla to Beltadi became uncontrollable and overturned while being driven by Sandeep Khadka, a resident of Krishnapur Municipality–1, Kanchanpur.

The driver sustained serious injuries to his head, chest, and legs. He was rushed to Mahakali Provincial Hospital in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, where he died during treatment at 4:15 PM on the same day, according to police.

The overturned tractor remains at the incident site, and further investigation into the accident is ongoing.
