Four Arrested with Illegal Drugs in Kailali and Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested four individuals from Kailali and Kanchanpur districts with illegal narcotics. According to police, substances resembling brown heroin were recovered during separate operations carried out on Tuesday.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, three individuals were arrested from Prithvipur of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality–6 with 250 milligrams of a powdery substance suspected to be brown heroin. The arrested individuals have been identified as 35-year-old Rajendra Chaudhary, 25-year-old Sandesh Dagaura, and 20-year-old Binod Chaudhary.

A police team deployed from the Sadakpur Area Police Office detained them after the suspicious substance was discovered during a routine check based on suspicion.

Similarly, 22-year-old Harendra Saud of Rauleshwar, Beldandi Rural Municipality–1, was arrested from Bhuda Maili in Belauri Municipality–10 with 14 grams and 840 milligrams of a powdery substance resembling brown heroin.

Police stated that Saud was apprehended while entering Nepal on foot from India. A team deployed from the Beldandi Area Police Office recovered the substance during a security check and subsequently arrested him.
