SEE 2082 Pass Rate Improves Across Sudurpashchim Province
Dhangadhi: The pass rate in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082 has improved in Sudurpashchim Province. According to results published by the National Examination Board, most districts in the province recorded better pass percentages this year compared to 2081.
According to the Education Development Directorate in Doti, Kailali recorded a 55.29 percent pass rate this year, nearly 12 percent higher than last year’s 43.01 percent. Out of 14,146 students who appeared for the examination, 7,822 passed while 6,324 were non-graded.
In Kanchanpur, 51.32 percent of the 8,244 participating students passed, an improvement from last year’s 45.24 percent. Six students from the district achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
In Dadeldhura, the pass rate reached 35.52 percent, compared to 27.52 percent last year. Meanwhile, Baitadi recorded a 51.40 percent pass rate, slightly lower than last year’s 52.30 percent.
In Darchula, 30.84 percent of students passed, down from 35.08 percent last year. Doti recorded a 41.28 percent pass rate, while Achham reached 55.71 percent. Bajura posted the highest pass rate in the province at 61.90 percent.
The district-wise data for Bajhang was not available, according to the Education Development Directorate in Doti.
Overall, 42,299 students from Sudurpashchim Province appeared in the SEE 2082 examinations, of which 21,664 students passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 51.21 percent. Last year, the province’s overall pass rate stood at only 42.30 percent.
