Two youths arrested with 5.4 grams of sugar in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested two individuals with drugs from Bedkot Municipality-01, Champapur in Kanchanpur.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a team deployed from the temporary police beat in Champapur conducted a check on Niraj Shah and Nabin Paneru, who were found in a suspicious condition. During the search, 5 grams 400 milligrams of brown heroin (brown sugar) was recovered from their possession.

Police have taken both individuals into custody, and further investigation is underway.

Authorities have stated that efforts to control drug-related activities in the district have been intensified. Police have also been conducting awareness campaigns with the message, “Let us protect ourselves and others from drug addiction.”
