Dirgharaj Joshi unanimously elected president of construction entrepreneurs association Kailali, voting ongoing for remaining posts

Dhangadhi: Dirgharaj Joshi, along with most office bearers and members, has been unanimously elected as the president of the Construction Entrepreneurs Association Kailali.

Following continuous discussions led by the association’s central vice-president (Far West Geography) Prakash Sethi, the president, all office bearers except the general secretary, and all working committee members except six were elected unanimously.

Among the unanimously elected office bearers are Dhirendra Saud as senior vice-president, Bikram Bista as first vice-president, Dambar Chand as second vice-president, Yogendra Bahadur Chand as policy deputy general secretary, Siddharaj Bhatta as internal deputy general secretary, Surendra Raj Bhatta as treasurer, and Maniraj Bhatta as co-treasurer.

The contest for the post of general secretary is underway between Amar Bahadur Khadka from the Joshi panel and Engineer Kiran Rawal. In addition, candidates from both groups are competing for six positions as working committee members.

The association stated that the voting process is currently ongoing to elect a total of seven members of the working committee, including one office bearer.
