Laborer dies after falling from roof in Baitadi

Baitadi: A laborer has died after falling from the roof of a house in Sullekhan, Shivathan Rural Municipality-6, Baitadi.

The deceased has been identified as Jagatram Tharu, 65, of Bansgadhi Municipality-4. He was working as a laborer on the Patan-Pancheshwor road section and was living in a rented house belonging to Uddhav Singh Dhanadi in Sullekhan.

According to police, it is believed that he died after falling from the roof while going to the bathroom around 3-4 am.

Inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Baitadi, said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
