Seven-year-old child dies of diarrhea in Jogbuda, Dadeldhura
Dadeldhura: A seven-year-old child has died of diarrhea in Jogbuda, an inner Madhesh area of Dadeldhura district. A family has been left in mourning after a child died due to diarrhea in Parashuram Municipality-2 under the extremely hot Chure region.
Seven-year-old Yubaraj Budhamagar died on the way to the hospital after four members of the same family suddenly developed diarrhea.
According to Prakash Ghimire, Information Officer of Jogbuda Provincial Hospital, the mother of the deceased child and three other children suffering from diarrhea have been admitted to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment. He said that all three children are suffering from diarrhea, while the mother is affected by excessive stress.
Ghimire informed that the cholera test results of those affected by diarrhea came back negative. He said that the initial suspicion is food poisoning as the cause of diarrhea and vomiting. According to him, the condition of all those currently undergoing treatment is normal.
