NEPSE index falls 18.10 points to close at 2,807.12
Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has declined by 18.10 points to settle at 2,807.12 points.
In today’s trading, 13.19 million shares of 347 companies were bought and sold 95,800 times, generating a total transaction worth Rs 5.77 billion 43.17 billion 879.
Among the sub-indices, the hotel and tourism group increased by 1.16 percent, while all other groups recorded a decline.
The share prices of Suryakunda Hydro Electric Limited and Palpa Cement Industries Limited entered a positive circuit.
Solu Hydropower Limited recorded the highest transaction value today at Rs 370 million 735 thousand 921. Based on the number of shares traded, National Hydropower Company Limited saw the highest trading volume with 777 thousand 373 shares.
